We love Passariello’s. I have been enjoying pasta, Stromboli, and pizza from their South Jersey locations as long as I can remember. So I had to try their cheesesteak. They have several options, but I went for the classic. The roll was more a classic doughy, soft hoagie roll. There were a handful of cheese options (but no Cooper), so I picked an American that was very creamy and mixed throughout. It was pretty good cheese, and I would have liked some more.
The meat had a moderate chop and was well seasoned with nice crispy bits and no signs of gristle. Onions also had a great flavor and really added to the sandwich.
Passariello’s is releasing a new special cheesesteak that sounds like it will be refreshed and modernized - I look forward to trying it!
